Red Angel
A giant hand sculptured out of a 50ft stump, after the tallest tree in Wales was damaged during a strong storm. From wrist to finger tip, the giant hand measures 2m (7ft).
The talented sculptor Simon O'Rourke words:
"I loved working on the hand sculpture, it reminded me just how small we are compared to some of the living organisms on this planet! All in all, a humbling experience!"

The Sculptor
(alternative version of The Artist)
He studied in medical school before he became a sculptor. With the precise knowledge of anatomy that came with his background, he created sculptures of human figures that were amazingly accurate - from the contours of muscles to the texture of skin. Soon after his first exhibition, he was hailed an insurmountable standard of contemporary realist sculptors.
His later works, although fewer in number, shocked the field. He had proceeded to peel apart, spread out, rearrange the parts of the figures; while still rendering the forms with impeccable accuracy - going as far as to recreate the organs on the other side.
Some said that he had created cubism in three dimensions, but many others simply found the pieces too disturbing.
