scolomortell replied to your post: …. Your head is a pumpkin! How neats! Smart plant person, maybes?
I am Morty, and Morty is who I am, yes~! -bows- Might I ask the neats pumpkinperson about theirself?
*Preens.* I am Jack, the Pumpkin King. A feared and, er, not quite as respected as I should be creature.
★ (Also for Morty but I'm too lazy to go and send from her account too maybe? 8D)
Sve: Cresento doesn't like him. Then again, are we really surprised? They're both arrogant, upper-class, Alpha Males. It's suffice to say that Cresento has finally met his match -- and may not be able to keep up.
Sve is another person he's wary of. However, his ego won't allow him to do the smart thing and hold his tongue around him, which is why he'll probably avoid him as often as he can.
----
Morty: Mortell, on the other hand, is a different story entirely. He's very fond of her, as well as incredibly fascinated by her. After all, she isn't something he's ever come across before.
... Ever.
There are so many questions he would eventually love to ask her, and he knows there's so much he can learn from her. And it's a funny added bonus to see Lucien so damn uncomfortable around her.
@scolomortell
In a world like Gaia, "strange" is a rather lax term; in fact, what would normally be considered as "strange" is so commonplace that it's "normal". However, the Bifrost and her crew -- under a captain with an affinity for adventure, the world, and new places and people -- had witnessed their fair share of oddities over the years, meriting a sense of desensitization to many otherwise "creepy" situations, even by Gaia's standards.
That being said, imagine Captain Cresento's surprise when the airship's Quartermaster entered his quarters, looking rather perplexed and a few shades paler than normal. A brow raised at Lucien from across the room, the pen in his hand stilling in expectation of an explanation for this intrusion and the odd behaviour accompanying it. Rather than jumping to the point, the (physically) older man patted around on his jumpsuit for his carton of cigarettes. Once it was located and removed from the particular pocket, he pried one from the small box, placing it between his lips -- which was more of a feat this time than it usually was, considering how violently his hands were trembling.
"... Well?" There was a hint of annoyance in the elf's voice as he leaned back in his chair.
The cigarette remained unlit, seemingly forgotten. Lucien's brow furrowed as he struggled to find the right words. "... There's a bug on the ship."
Cresento stared at him in silence for several long, tense minutes, waiting for the rest of the story -- only to find that there didn't seem to be more to it. With this realization, his face slowly dropped more and more with growing impatience and lack of amusement, those golden-orange eyes half-closing while his mouth twitched into a deep frown. "Pick it up, and place it outside. Or smash it. One quick hit from a shoe and it's gone for good."
The dark-haired, brown-eyed man, who was usually so good at lightening the mood, continued displaying an uncharacteristically large amount of distress. He tugged unconsciously at the collar of his white undershirt. "N-no, Cap'n, I don't think ... you understand. There's a bug on the ship."
No, clearly the captain was not understanding him correctly. Was this some sort of joke? With a bit of a growl, the pen was set down on the desk, and Cresento stood. "This had better be good, Lucien," was his only warning as he approached. The human backed out of the room, and the elf closed the door behind them before following Lucien through the hall and out to the airship's anteroom.
scolomortell replied to your post: I think I understand what they’re getting at. Mr. Gambino had a lame gold statue, you should have one in Platinum.
Or perhaps the copper~? I heard that it is expensives lately, too.
There will be a series of statuettes in copper. Yes.
Befriend and humor me~?
Liu stared at the giant centipede-women curled up on his bed, wondering how on earth she had A) fit through his door, and B) unlocked it to get inside.
For some reason, he didn't feel as shocked as he knew he should have: He was just used to crazy things at this point, from knowing his brother and his friends, as he walked up to her and tilted his head. Why was she sleeping here? Oh well. Liu tried to shake her slightly, mumbling a "Wake up..." Morty only shifted slightly, eyes still closed. "Heeeey, come on..." Liu tried, still shaking her. Sully was urging him to just get the knife and try to kill her already.
The only reaction he got out of the creature on his bed was a pair of her arms reaching out and grabbing him, pulling him against her into a cuddly mess of arms and plates.
"... Great." Liu sighed, giving up as she nuzzled him with her enormous head, as if he were some kind of teddy bear. It didn't seem like he would be going anywhere this time.
