less than ten miles north of salem sits the small town of echo ridge, massachusetts. it is home to a very successful fish market and tuna factory as well what a surprisingly large amount of people consider the most annoying group of nancy drews know mankind. the scooby gang consists of a group of young adults all working for old detective scooby, once the premier private detective on the east coast. now he spends most of his time sleeping on the la-z-boy in his office or watching sports on the flatscreen he’s got in there too. his cases he leaves to his employees. they’re made up of college and high school students being paid way above minimum wage to solve some of the most baffling cases new england’s ever seen. their success rate is nearly 100%, there haven’t been many cases they couldn’t solve. sure, they get a couple of cheating spouse pictures needed cases ( cpsn’s, as they like to call ‘em ) but nothing beats a good ol’ fashioned, scratch your head mystery and they jump to solve those. the local sheriff’s office hates them, of course, and criminals even more so but hey, they can’t help it if they’re just that good. plus, they’ve got the absolute cutest pitbull named back-up that has helped in many cases what with his phenomenal sense of smell and the ability to just look downright adorable tackling runaway suspects. that’s a good boy!
