The first ikepri fic I ever posted was the result of an over-extended collaborative chat-fic when I was feeling down, so the style is one of my favorite pick-me-ups. Hope these'll bring you some joy, too 😊

Chevalier's Ambition

The Hypothesis: Messy hair + cap = Pokémon Trainer

(An interpretive study conducted for @rhodolitesrose, @atelieredux, & @chaosangel767)

Test Subject: Luke Randolph

Exhibit A: First day with his trusty starter, Teddiursa. Subject manages to catch 2 more companions, then promptly lies down for a nap in the rose bushes along Route 1.

We'll fast-forward along their journey.

Exhibit B: Four hours later, Subject wakes to find his Pidgey has evolved into a Pidgeotto. Subject fails to realize the stash of rare candies he hid in his cap is empty and resolves he is just a natural at this.

Exhibit C: After a long day of battling, the pals unwind for some much-needed downtime.

Exhibit D: Subject's newly-evolved Ursaring is threatened by a hoard of wild Geodude. Subject reaches behind his back and... No, Luke! You can't bring a sword into a Pokémon battle!!!!

This study has been put on hold until we can contain the subject.
