⚡ Lev couldn’t help but worry, in the end.
Worry, worry, worry - it was so hard to do much else, when he’d left a world unsaved and unfinished, when he closed his eyes to the world crumbling. Walks helped, but not much - the wooden sword that he’d been given felt flimsy and uncomfortable in his grip, not heavy enough to mean anything, and he felt as though he might choke if he breathed too deeply. Pausing in the middle of a street, he let his eyes flutter shut, taking a moment to focus on breathing - inhale, exhale. He was pushed out of his reverie as a shoulder brushed against his, though, and he bit his lip as he turned to offer an apology.
❝ ’ahm sor... Erik?”
His voice twisted in his throat, turning from an apology into a squeak, his eyes stinging as he took in the blue hair, the languid motions, the necklace hanging against the other’s chest. Relief sunk into him, making his limbs feel heavy, the adrenaline of worry fading.
❝ ..you’re okay...”
