ScotBela Headcanons

-They have the same hate for stupidity.

-Whenever someone says something stupid to them, they just stare at the person blankly, slowly look at each other, and laugh loudly.

-They fist-bump each other when one says something extremely sarcastic.

-When losing a spat with her, Alistair will stick his tongue out at her. This defuses some of the anger in the situation, and lets Natalia know that she has won.

-They both like the city. Their favorite thing to do is to walk around town while holding hands and window shopping.

-Alistair is very stubborn, but Natalia knows exactly how to bribe him: Sweets! The Scot’s ultimate weakness! “No, Nat, I’m not going to your family reunion.” “We’ll get something chocolate on the way back.” “Fine.”

-”Don’t roll your eyes at me!” Is Natalia’s most common phrase to Alistair.

-They team up to argue with other people.

-They like to pretend to get into a heated fight in public, just to make other people uncomfortable.

-Alistair is very protective of those who are close to him, and although he likes that Natalia can take care of herself, he sometimes gets frustrated that he can’t step in when he wants to. 

-They like to watch bad rom-coms  together and make fun of them.

-They are both pretty spacy, but they do cuddle sometimes. Usually it’s Alistair who will cuddle up to her, a bit unwanted to Natalia, but the Scot is just too damn cute when he’s being affectionate.

-If they get into a heated fight, then Alistair’s accent thickens dramatically. Unlike the other UK Brothers, however, Natalia can’t understand him, which usually means that they need to step away and cool down.

-Alistair does not like it when Natalia calls him “Ginger.” She does occasionally, anyway.

-Neither of them say “I love you” very much. Alistair (and his brothers, for that matter) go by the philosophy “actions speak louder than words”, and Natalia doesn’t express positive emotions that well. For Alistair, it’s when he picks her up on a rainy day so she doesn’t need to stand at the bus stop. That is his “I love you.” For Natalia, it’s the little knick-knacks she buys for him and telling him “It reminded me of you.” That is her “I love you.”
