What better way for an automaker to communicate performance, longevity and a never-ending commitment to quality than with an ad that itself never ends?

Honda and mcgarrybowen London have made just that for the 2015 CR-V, following up 2013's gold Lion-winning "Illusions" ad with another spot based on an optical illusion. It's called "Endless Road," and it shows a car on a hypnotic, infinitely looping, spiraling road to illustrate the never-ending quest to create the most advanced CR-V yet.

It draws you in and doesn't let go. The quest for improvement is endless; and the equally endless road is a clever and compelling way to illustrate the idea

Scot cuts with Vince Squibb at Gorgeous and delivered by Leo Burnett Worldwide

David Reviews - 5* This is rather lovely - a mum watches her young son set off on his bike, reminding him not to be long; and we follow his journey all the way down to the Co-op. The ad has a nostalgic vibe to it; set in a housing estate most likely built in the late 1970s which is devoid of busy roads or the potential threat of deviant strangers lurking on the sidelines (provided the Radio 1 Roadshow isn't in town). At the Co-op, he sees a girl just getting back on her bike, and the reason for his journey becomes clear. It's a lovely ad with a simple, clear message - even if you don't choose us for your big Easter shop, we're there for the little things you might forget.
