You can let me inside, or I can get inside, and either way, I’m gonna find her,” she said simply, crossing her arms over her chest. Goddammit, Gillian. This was supposed to be a ‘hero’ case, not a goddamn headache. “Step aside, Jordy, or this lawn is gonna have a new smear on it.”

Carol knew that certain groups were still concerned about the Accords. About registration. Her job as ‘Enforcer’ wasn’t just about bringing in the dangerous ones -- it was about convincing people that this was the right thing to do. Enforcing every part of the law, not just the down and dirty parts. (Though they were certainly fun.)

The biggest group of Unregistereds? Mutants. Plain and simple, they didn’t trust the government, and with good reason. But Carol had been there, she knew what it was like to have your life stolen away, and she could prove this wasn’t happening now. She just had to make them see it too.

Jean was an old pal, so Carol wasn’t worried about landing on the lawn in front of Xavier’s. (Plus, ya know, she was pretty badass.) Before she even reached the door, someone was coming outside. “Hey there!” she called out brightly, brushing the dirt her landing kicked up off her shoulders. “Don’t tell me... You’re Scott, right? Cyclops? Super cool name by the way, very... classical.”
