Why?: This one was hard because I do love them both... but I did NOT love Victor until they cast James Read (he was just a more wholesome Victor) so that's why Sam wins out. I get that Penny would have been hella difficult to interact with for Victor, but he practically abandoned his three daughters. He may have made amends in his later life, but he was a sucky Dad to start with. Sam I just sort of really felt for straight away, he just never had a chance to have the life he deserved as a whitelighter a mortal or as a father. I wish we had seen more of him in later seasons once he and Paige reconnected. Also, don't you think Scott Jaeck kinda looks like a mix of William H Macy and Jeffrey Dean Morgan?
