Continuing a recent trend here on"Link Love," we're bringing you more news from Dallas' fabulous foodie scene. For those of you already in the know, the W Hotel's impending closure of flailing restaurant Craft comes as no surprise, but what you may not have heard is that the swanky establishment recently pushed back the date for Craft's demise as the W waits for its replacement concept, Cook Hall, to take shape.
The Dallas Observer's City of Ate blog described Cook Hall as a "gastropub . . . featuring shared plates," and the publication also harped on the almost-bottle service that will be available at the new joint, noting that the restaurant will be offering a "signature Cook Hall cocktail kit." However, the most significant development reported by the Observer was the revelation that James Beard winner Belinda Chang will be the driving force behind the adult beverage creations at Cook Hall. It goes without saying that the Brandpointe team cannot wait for our first happy hour in house when Cook Hall opens this November; we'll see you there!
