A great pick for an early holiday gift for the hardworking dad in your life, “I Love You Like...” features a loving grasshopper father and his son, who wants to know exactly how much daddy loves him. The grasshopper dad finds a funny way to put all that love into words (scroll for some examples). . Scott Sutton and Alec Traub are longtime friends who live across the country from one another. One day Scott joked to his friend that he missed him more than the grasshopper misses grass... and hopping. They went back and forth like this for years and had the thought to one day turn them all into a book. Some day. Then, in 2016, with a wife and 2 year old son at home, Scott was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer. The friends decided to turn their idea for a book into a children’s book dedicated to Scott’s son. They did a fantastic job and it is now available for purchase on Amazon.
