it's been 10 years......

we did CREW CREATION after wrapping up the mission in Blades in the Dark yesterday!!

you get all kinds of cool stuff and also collect crew XP and rep - there's a whole zoomed-out faction game going on in between missions

my players: "cool, should we pick [3rd richest district] or [2nd richest district] for our hunting grounds?"

me: ...

my players: "ooh, or we could aim for [absolute richest district], that'd be fun"

me, a humble DM: *head in hands* do yall want to DIE

one or more of my players will probably level up today, im so excited

@attolis i’m calling it, Cas has the special ability to add another name to their full name when they level up. is that what’s gonna happen

i’m currently making a plot map for Scoundrel Generator like the one i have for Meme Superhighway (the TechNoir book tells you to) bc there’s factions and interpersonal connections and all that good shit to explore

one of the best parts of being a FriendsTable fan and a DM is using the same system and noticing stuff like, Same Hat

like I just remembered Captain Hitchcock has the same special ability that one of my players picked... and so does Sige Colburn (resident small gang)... we don't have an alchemist or a robot tho

(but we make up for it with a stoner ghost-whisperer and a retrieval specialist infiltrator thief)
