to be fair alabama is still a fucking long way from texas. It’s 4 hours for me just to reach New Orleans. x.x

That's like, two trips from here to my old home :X  Still a long drive... but you're a lot closer 'cause from here to California, driving time, it'll take about 11 hours. And only certain time of the year are plane tickets kind of cheap for a round trip. It's ridiculous.
