i got a new job! i'll be 3ic at a shoe store. i start training next wednesday.

i've never broken a bone. when i was a kid i fell badly and they thought i'd fractured my arm but nope my skeleton is too strong

i just finished rereading all the old kingdom books and i'm about to start the knife of never letting go

most of the time when i watch horror movies i look up the synopsis online first

i'm currently clearing out my tumblr likes and i still have like 50k left oops

What do you listen to on a long drive (or train trip or bus trip or plane ride or whatever)? usually i just have my music on shuffle but sometimes i'll make a playlist specifically for a trip. i try to put mostly upbeat-ish songs, nothing too sad.

Tell me something you love about your favourite character. i don't have like a single favourite character ever but something i love about mabel from gravity falls is that she's like super girly and loves glitter but also loves grappling hooks and her pet pig and idk i guess i love that she's not forced to be one thing or the other.

If you could learn any musical instrument, what would it be? Why? i actually used to learn piano but i've forgotten most of it. i would go back to that because i really enjoyed it.

Where is home? Or where are your homes? i guess melbourne is my home??? i've never lived anywhere else for an extended length of time. i feel like i could very easily live in san francisco though, and also maybe perth???

What is your hot beverage of choice? i'm trying to make it not coffee bc too much coffee isn't good for me but it's definitely coffee.

Do you prefer sweet or savoury foods? hmm i don't really have a preference, i prefer a mix really. i don't like it as much when a meal is all one thing or the other. What is a food you just can’t stand? licorice. ew.

What fiction did you love when you were young? a little princess and the secret garden, enid blyton, the hairy maclary books, peter rabbit and other books by beatrix potter, the wind in the willows, among others.

Describe your favourite item of clothing. oh my god how can i decide? i got this denim jacket in america that i adore, it fits so well and it's super comfy but also looks great.

How are you at gardening? Are you a greenthumb? My mum always said everyone has at least one plant they can grow, have you found yours? i'm giving it a go! i grew marigolds as a kid and they lived for ages but my last attempt ended in a dead sunflower. right now i'm attempting succulents, we'll see how that goes.

Hot or cold weather? cold every time.

What is the best part of your day? when i've just woken up and it's early and i don't have to get out of bed for a while and i can just listen to the quiet of the house and breathe in the morning. also there's usually a cat in bed w me so i can pet his little cute face!!
