*MRA voice* This is why men actually have it worse than women!!! *star trek alien porn falls out of pocket*
Check your pocket privilege, buddy. Our clothes rarely have pockets, so I have to stash my star trek alien porn in my bra. :(

I hate skin it's so hard to maintain and then even though I know no one has perfect skin the way people are portrayed in the media has forever messed with how I think my skin should be
I feel ya. Like, it doesn't matter how good your skincare routine is, there will always be some flare-ups. I think you just gotta remember all the help people get when they're in front of the camera. Makeup, lighting, high-end products, etc.
And even people who do seem to have really good skin IRL usually are wearing at least a little bit of makeup. Lots of people say that the Mario Badescu cream is really good for drying out spots before they become pimples - so you start to apply as soon as there's redness. If that's a particular concern for you, maybe it's worth trying out? Or you could search for reviews of products that are suited to your skin so you're less likely to waste your money.
I think most people just find the best routine for them through trial and error. I definitely make more of an effort to take care of my skin now, and I am seeing some improvement. I think the coconut oil thing really makes a difference - once it's soaked in to your skin after scrubbing with the sugar, it makes it a lot easier to scrape the dirt and oil from your skin. Maybe I'm just breaking out less frequently because my skin is cleaner?

Honestly if you’re gonna commit to boring life so early at least get someone who isn’t mediocre
YES. Like, honestly, I want all that boring domestic shit too one day, with a dude and babies, but ... hopefully by then, dudes will actually be interesting? Like, they've lived a little and aren't as stupid when they're older (hopefully), which makes up for the fact that most of them are facially mediocre. You better be getting dicked down by something incredible if you want to settle down at this age.
ages ago riya tagged me in that "say five nice things about yourself" meme and i don't think i ever did it so here we go:
i'm working on myself as a person, trying to be better and kinder and stronger. i think back to how i was a year ago or two years ago or five years ago and i'm so much happier now. i don't think i'm 100% there yet - i still have a way to go with accepting myself and dealing with my anxiety and depression etc - but i'm trying and i'm working and i'm progressing
i think i'm funny, or i can be funny??
also in terms of like growing as a person i'm way better at telling people how i feel about them than i used to be, like before i sent this super cheesy message to robyn but i'm totally ok with being cheesy if i can tell people how much they mean to me at the same time
my boobs are amazing let's face it
i'm not afraid to cut people out of my life if they are toxic and that's incredibly freeing
