To date someone because they make you happy.. It’s certainly a feeling beyond any Baelfire had EVER felt before. Flynn was everything to the little brunette. He was his sunshine on a rainy day. He was the air that he breathed. He was the reason he woke up every morning.. He was his WHOLE world and if he could ever express that to Flynn, though it won’t be for a very long time.. It would still mean EVERYTHING to Bae.
His parents understood. Papa and Dad understood so well.. They understood 100%. They knew what Bae felt and they supported him. Hell, KIRK, Flynn’s Dad supported him... but Spock, Flynn’s father... He didn’t support him.. He never did. He was a vicious as Roman rule. He never broke.. He never stopped...
Day in and day out Baelfire faced DEATH glares as he tried to spend time with Flynn. He faced being called illogical and other insults on repeat because he wasn’t as stiff like he was... He faced it all..
...But even concrete angels come crumbling down with time. Baelfire RAN home, tears staining his pale cheeks as he bolted home as fast as possible. It hurt him so badly how upset Spock always seemed to be with him. No matter HOW hard he tried.. He would never be good enough for Flynn... He saw that now.
As soon as he got inside, Bae closed the front door and pressed his back against it. He couldn’t speak as he breathed in and out trying his HARDEST to gather his thoughts. Nothing worked. He was tired of fighting.. So he surrendered. With one shaky inhale, Baelfire COLLAPSED to the floor sobbing. He pulled his knees to his chest and held them tight as his small frame shook and tears poured down his face.
If he wasn’t good enough for Flynn... He was never going to be good enough for anyone...
He lifted his head for a moment, looking straight ahead as tears trickled down his pale cheeks and a broken whisper treaded softly through pastel pink lips.
“M-My e-ex-ist-ance. i-is i-illog-gical...”
Then he curled back up, his body a tighter, trembling ball against his front door as he let his sobs ring through his house. Bae struggled to breathe as his heart shattered inside his chest.
...His existence really was illogical. It always was... It always will be.

his tiny legs didn’t carry him all that fast, but Ben wanted to catch up to his father and the Wookie. He wore clothes that looked similar to that Han wore, made by Leia to silence the whines of the child. “Dad!” he exclaimed while he finally reached the Falcon and it’s pilots who were just about to enter. Ben reached out with his arms when he stopped in front of his father. “take me with you!” he pleaded, looking up him with a saddened look in his eyes.
