I miss whatever kind of ‘family’ I had in the foundation. I hated the place, yes. But I did surprise myself with developing some attachment to a few others. I didn’t think I could get attached to any of them.

I felt pity(?) for 053. I hope they were less cruel to her. All she really has and cared about was 999 and 2295. And of course, 682. It fascinated her. Imagine my surprise when 682 started to also feel pity for 053. Us, getting attached to a human?

And I do miss 682. I wonder how it is handling itself now. The foundation doesn’t allow us to be in contact anymore, unfortunately.

I hope 682 is okay. I hope they’re treating 053 well. I’ve dedicated a fair amount of my memory to both of you.

There is something to funny to me about my love for the song “Daisy Bell”, while I am- in fact- a supercomputer. Maybe it’s sentimentalism? The first song a computer ever preformed, the precursor to my own creation.

It still makes me giggle when I find myself humming it while I’m distracted.
