There was a light nudging at Bolt's side, a thick bundle of fur pushing up against the swiss shepherd mix. When he came to, he would find a Pomeranian bumping against him with his nose, trying to get him to wake up. The area around him wasn't familiar at all, being a cherry meadow, just in front of an abbey that appeared to have a heavy emphasis on stained glass.
" Hey! " Barkley gave Bolt another push. " Are you okay? ... C'mon wake up! "

The son of Poseidon had been treading through the BLINDING snow for miles now with no luck. He was lost deep in the forest when the snow began to gently fall from the sky. Now, Percy was lost in a white void of ice.
Left. Right. Left. Right. One more step, just one more step. It was all the half - blood could think. All the energy he could muster. Until he felt something BRUSH against his leg. Looking down he saw.. a dog? White pelt made the canine nearly INVISIBLE. The son of Poseidon didn’t see or hear him approach.
〝 Hey boy.. 〞 Raised voice fought against the HOWLING winds, his hand dropping to RUFFLE the canine’s head. 〝 Please tell me you know where you’re goin’.. 〞

To Thunder's frustration, the super canine had been SEPARATED from his twin and Penny. He was almost impressed that Dr. Calico's henchmen were clever enough to drop such a trap on the big three, but they always seem to forget about his sheer determination and stubbornness that pulsed like electricity through his veins.
The dog was sent several levels under, so Thunder knew he had to be quick to get back to the top floor. Hopefully Bolt was still there to take care of Penny, but everything went by so quick and...well. It's hard to focus when you are falling so many floors down. He needed to regroup. To make sure Penny and Bolt are okay.
That fiendish Dr. Calico! Oh he can't wait for himself and his brother to super bark him into oblivion.
But of course, it wouldn't be easy. Word had spread once the goons realized they couldn't contain such a force of nature. After his big escape, Dr. Calico's henchmen had tried to swarm with guns blazing.
But that wasn't a problem. Thunder had SUPER speed. Bullets had trouble hitting the white blur. Eye lasers melted guns while super strength knocked back his foes on to others as if they were dominoes. Sure, they got a few good hits and knocked the dog back into the wall at least once. But that's just the occupation of the job. However, the adrenaline was so high, that he would shake it off and continue on.
With a keycard clamped within his maw ( he had stolen it during the earlier confrontation), the hallways he ran down were long, sleek and cold. He was able to get through automated doors...and then he slipped into the main elevator - it would take him straight to the control room...where Dr. Calico should be.
But the building rocked as if it was in an earthquake, making the elevator's light flicker and the contraption scrape against the outerwalls. And Thunder could've sworn he heard Penny's muffled scream...Calico's laughter...the booming whir of a helicopter.
He cursed under his breath...Bolt! Penny! What's happening? Can't this thing go up any faster! "I'm coming!" He barked out loudly.
Once to the top, he didn't even give the elevator doors time to properly open. He exploded out of them with a massive headbutt, teeth BARED into a snarl.
All was quiet. Too quiet. Ears flicked. Penny wasn't around.
Bolt was on the floor....
But...What happened to Penny?
"Bolt!" Thunder dashed over, attempting to nose him back to his paws. Concern was heavy within his furrowed brows. "What happened, brother?"
“Please go away…”
Bolt looked entirely unimpressed, with half-lifted eyes and a wrinkled muzzle- but only on one side.

"Oh come on now!" Barnaby said calmly, stepping in front of the dog. "Can we not just chat for a little? I'm SUCH a big fan of your show and I came all the way here from an entirely different universe!!"
Mittens probably wouldn’t laugh at having a dog bounce in circles around her, but she might scoff. Or just kinda… try to slip past him without getting stepped on.
Bolt, however, was much too excited to wonder what she was thinking.
“WOO!!” he exclaimed, jumping once more to land in a play-bow. “First Halloween with Penny! Yes!!!”
The white canine wagged his tail and stood straight, but he was beaming, and his eyes were wide with delight. “She got you a costume, too, right? I think mine’s a… uhh- oh! It’s a reindeer with a red nose. But I don’t remember his name.”

MITTENS OPTED TO REMAIN STILL, letting bolt bound around her in his fevered excitement. it was for her own safety. to try and dodge or move would most likely end up in a collision, so she'd rather just let him get it out. while she didn't share the same sentiment about the occasion, the feline wasn't about to spoil the thrill he had. she UNDERSTOOD enough about what he had gone through to know trivial delights would mean the world.
sitting back, there was relief when he... somewhat settled. or at the very least was willing to stay in the same spot. attention flickered over him, whiskers twitching whilst he expressed the elation in words for the first time.
"it's r u d o l p h," she noted casually. "there's a whole song and everything, i'm sure you'll hear it plenty come christmas time."
among many, many other classics. wandering the streets of new york meant she heard the same things belting out of stores over and over and over and over and over- to the point that she had them all memorized herself. at least this year she might be able to find some enjoyment in them due to the comfort of a home. might.
"cat's aren't as... agreeable with costumes. she got me some bat wings, but they'll be lucky if i allow them to stay on for more than a minute or so."
dogs weren't necessarily, either, but bolt seemed thrilled by the idea, so she wasn't going to try and push him otherwise. personalities were different... there were some felines that would totally wear an outfit. mittens? not really one of them.
the black and white stretched out long, flexing her paws. "they never did, uh. a halloween special or the like on the show?"
Rainy Day Blues.
If there was one thing Minnie didn't mind, it was rainy days. All was well in Mouseton, as the sunlight sky rained down, drizzles from a few overcast clouds. Minnie was sporting her red polka dotted umbrella, as her heels clicked against the concreate sidewalk.
She was returning home from her friend Clarabelle's store, with some of her friend's famous banana bread. As well, as snacks for Figaro and Pluto, when she thought to herself, how she wished she had someone to share her treats with. Nothing goes better with Banana Bread than company.
The rain had picked up as she neared her house, but the day was still pleasantly warm. Was it her imagination or was there a stray white dog up ahead of her? "Oh, how cute, ...hello there! Are you all by yourself out here?" She glanced around, there didn't seem to be an owner nearby.

Elsa stood in the palace courtyard. She had just finished shaping a delicate ice sculpture when Anna came bounding around the corner, her cheeks rosy from the cold morning air, excitement practically crackling in her footsteps.
"Elsa!" She called, grinning widely. "I have something for you!"
Elsa turned, curiosity flickering in her eyes. "Another pre birthday surprise?" she asked, arching an amused brow.
Before Anna could answer, a blur of white fur zipped past her boots, skidding a little on the icy ground before coming to a wiggling halt in front of her. A puppy ---fluffy as fresh snow, with ears that perked straight up and eyes as bright as morning light -- sat down and tilted its head.
Surprise! He's yours!" Anna said, her voice softer now, watching her sister’s face carefully. "I saw him and just… knew."
For a moment, Elsa said nothing. Her breath caught in her throat. The puppy yipped once, as if sensing her hesitation, and pawed gently at the hem of her dress. And then she smiled. Really smiled.
She knelt and held out a hand. "You’re like a little spark," she murmured, her voice barely audible. "Fast as lightning."
She looked up at Anna, heart full. "I think I'll call him Bolt."

"You okay, little guy?"
The hero's voice was quiet while he approached the strange, young pup.
Brown hues drifted temporarily to the surrounding damage the demon had done. The island had been so peaceful before. Taking in the sight of places he once recognized now in ruin was enough to make his heart splinter.
At least the Oni had been bested only moments ago, but he can't take all the credit this time. It felt like this pup came out of nowhere, and a powerful bark caught the demon off guard to allow Kendo to finish it off.
Once he dropped the mask so it could hang around his neck, Kendo slowly knelt and offered out a hand for the young pup to sniff.
"You were really brave, weren't you? Are you hurt?"
He doesn't know WHY he is asking that. He isn't expecting the puppy to talk...
