is there any rom ships you would like to explore with haylee? be it from someone within her canon, or just dynamics in general. share any ideas you'd like!
oh geez. i'm so bad at these types of questions haha! i tend to just... let muses meet and see how the vibes go! keeps me from going into interactions with set expectations or forcing anything. just letting the muses naturally connect and reveal the potential there!
haylee is incredibly easy to have a friendship with, and i'm 500% on board with such things. she's a cheerleader, a supporter, and i love her pep and passion for others. so even just positive dynamics of allies or companions or the like is incredibly beloved to me.
negative relationships will be harder just through her sheer nature. so unless a muse is a genuine villain or the like, she's kind of like faith and dawn where she tends to try and see the best in others and bring out the best in them. but it is possible! haylee is incredibly defensive so being a bully... well. she doesn't put up with those and will use beast mode to clobber someone heh.
i love her basically being a sister to the sibs! at least that's how things tend to go when chatting with mizzy and amber and haylee's interactions with kendo and jade. amber and i are pretty solid on kendo and haylee strictly siblings, and if kendo were to lose daigo and jade, haylee's family would adopt him in a heartbeat lol. she and daigo would never work ( even minus my personal interpretation of daigo being ace/aro ). siblings is even a stretch for them in my mind, but i think they'd learn to tolerate one another ajdlsfk;jsadf
in terms of romance, obviously there's the fandom ship of her and morgan ( i don't actually believe it's canon... it's never supported in-game at least despite the one social post which has no relation to the story itself ). totally down to explore it, but i don't consider it haylee's canon endgame because i think there's so much opportunity for her.
but characters like morgan who are kind of her opposite - the shyer, the softer, the darker... it's always fun to explore if characters like that can come together and bring out the best in each other. someone who will tone haylee down while she raises them up! but i think it can really depend on how someone interprets morgan as a character.
depending on how someone portrays killswitch, i feel there's potential there, but again it's not something i consider off the bat since it entirely depends on interpretation. him being her little cheerleader in a way she is for others, haylee maybe helping him learn to loosen up some... i could see it if done right!
synth, ziggy, and lightrider are strictly platonic i'd imagine.
i don't really have too many other thoughts regarding forknife canon... i'm sure if i dug into some characters, i could find some skins that would vibe with her, but nothing immediately stands out!
haylee with other young-ish heroes would be cute, i bet. people who can keep up with her energy or people who challenge that energy. there's potential in a variety of ways. but given how overwhelming she can sort of be as a person, it really does need to be someone who can match or balance her abundance of enthusiasm. most people probably stick to just being her friend because they adore her, but they can't rein her in in a way that makes a romantic compatibility feasible.
