Have you seen that new line of NASCAR Cars diecasts? Not only do we get updated versions of some familiar faces, but we're introduced to some new ones too such as William Byrev, Carstin "Ace" Dillon, and Gogo Logano.

I haven’t seen them in person, but I do know of them! The car pun names are so lazy though, LOL. Do they even count as puns at that point? Just going for something adjacent like Gogo Logano would probably be better than trying to force a “Byrev.” Especially when all the OG sponsor name puns, etc., are so good!

I'm surprised this never crossed my mind up until now, but due to him essentially bulldozing Cruz into the wall on the final lap of the Florida 500 I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Piston Cup race officials needed to have a little chat with Jackson Storm post-race....

I need someone to draw a picture of Jackson pouting, slinking his way to the Piston Cup hauler after a race. That’d be hilARIOUS

I know things suck right now with the virus panic, but it looks like you'll get that NASCAR/IndyCar double-header after all....

But yes! If all things go well, that is. I done spent money on the Brickyard weekend festivites (USAC, Xfinity, Cup races) and I’m hoping that one of those tickets will get us in for the IndyCar race as well.

As of today I imagine the opening race of the 2020 Piston Cup season would have the field in a missing man formation before the start to honor the late Junior "Midnight" Moon...

I think the part of that that would get me most would be seeing Cruz - likely up front - the only one to have really met and known Moon. For everyone else it would be due process, but for her, it’s personal.

You know that headcanon you have of some of the Piston Cup racers making sound effects while they're racing? Well it turns out Cale Yarborough did just that in real life at times.

So apparently NASCAR has now gone to calling the future Gen 7 cars "Next-Gens" instead. Life imitating art?
