The request came as a surprise in the otherwise silent library and gloved hands paused in his own search, tipping the book he’d grabbed back into it’s proper space before walking over to the apparently helpless automaton. See. If the Spine were here he could have done this with ease. But. Well he wasn’t.

Surprisingly. 

Oscar paused beside Scratch, tilting his head towards the upper shelf of books before gesturing up at the unfamiliar titles, hand hovering up in the air to snatch down whichever one was wanted. He had the height to do it..so it was only fair he help.

Besides..it was sorta his job to assist the Walter automatons. Look like a real asshole if he just shrugged and walked away from the request. 

“Which one?”
