also I know they’re trying to be accessible by releasing it in podcast form and hiring someone to type subs on the spot and there are breaks in between yada yada but the entire format is just flat out inaccessible why the hell is every episode 4 hours long. That’s two fucking movies. They don’t even waste time with short pauses or silences like I thought they did “it can’t be helped” like they could’ve just done 2h long episodes. I can’t fucking watch this series without approaching it in a “I don’t care about this and I’m not gonna bother trying to catch the whole story” kinda way just because of the god awful length
