Personally I wanna know what scrib jelly tastes like, like do people put it on their bread like jam? Is it a breakfast food? Or is it strictly just an alchemy ingredient?
I had to do a bit of digging about it (the sources I have are from the TES fandom page, which I know isn’t the best source, but these directly reference in-game quotes, so it should be accurate!)
It’s both! Looks like you’re right that it can be spread on bread/eaten as is! Though I think it would be a very expensive delicacy, as I do know it has a pretty high value in-game, since it’s one of the only ingredients you can use to make your own Cure Blight Disease potions... though I’m not sure how tasty a sour jelly would be lasjdfjfds
I know you didn’t ask for it, but I’d like to think something like scrib jelly is an acquired taste that’s most enjoyed by natives...whereas dirty uncultured outlanders don’t like it very much...
