Another look at my editing process

I literally just rewrote an entire page worth of dialogue and I’m no where near complete with this round of editing.

Did I really just removed three scenes from my script and replace them with smaller moments to add to the tension between to characters? Yes, I fucking did and I regret every moment in it. 

Hopefully, changes will add to the change my MC plans and the big reveal at the end.

Trimming the fat from scripts

Painful but in a good way. I now have chapter 2 back down to 30 pages. We've had enough monologuing (thanks Wise Man) for one chapter.

This is why sometimes, I need hiatus. Cutting junk. Build in the good bits later if they make sense. There's a line about orange shoes I'm a bit sad to cut. Later ...

This just makes it a faster, nicer read for you! And gives our main trio some proper "together" time!

That only took 50 pages ... *grumble grumble* should have trimmed this thing back in Chapter 1 *grumble*
