Hermione Granger and The Half Blood Prince

Well - Act 3 is finally finished, and I have reached 84 pages. So I think I am almost certainly going to reach 100 pages before the end (given I have two acts, a Coda and some credits to write). 

I’ve also come the closest I have ever come to writing a sex-scene into one of my stories, even if it is remarkably tame compared to some scenes that are out there. 

I think I am going to take a break tomorrow, then maybe get back to it on Tuesday or Wednesday. Monday promises to be ludicrously busy at work - Emily B has broken her wrist and won’t be in, so I have work to do on her project and  work to do on my own, all of which has to be completed by around 3pm. 

But, for now, I am happy. Act 3 is done, and the plot advances a pace.

Hermione Granger and The Half Blood Prince

So - I realise I am supposed to be writing it for ScriptFrenzy 2015, but - as I said - I am a wowdy wiotous webel who started it a week ago, and I am already halfway to my total (100 pages) and just about to reach the end of Act 2 (out of 5, plus a Teaser and Coda).

Which is kind of making me wonder what I am going to do in April itself. 

I could write Christmas in Sunnydale (Part 3 of the Holiday From Hell Trilogy) or maybe the MIB Movie (although I do kind of want to do that as a proper story, rather than a screenplay).

Well - I have 6 days to figure it out, and who knows - by then I might be done with HG&THBP so I will have more time to figure it out.

(Aside from the Easter weekend, when I am going to see my lady love!)

Oh yes,  I am a rebel

So on Sunday I started “Hermione Granger and The Half Blood Prince”. I realise that, since I am doing it for ScriptFrenzy 2015 I shouldn’t start until April, but then you have to balance that with the fact SF15 is entirely unofficial and exists only in my head, so I can - in fact - pretty much do it whenever I want.

And if the target is a 100 page screenplay (based on A4 pages) then in the six hours I did of writing, I got to 1/5th of the target (23 pages).

Admittedly, the entire first act is mostly plot exposition (explaining the world of Sophie Prince) but I really could not think of another way of doing it.

But once the first act comes to an end, there will be more drama and comedy and stuff.

In theory.

Anyway - it’s going quite well
