( it has been months since the last time yunho had been called in the clearview in one of his days off. he knows his job is a 24/7 kind of thing, but he was enjoying this new found happiness of having sundays as actual sundays, not just another day he thinks he’ll rest just to be called to another emergency. he was called right in the middle of his morning run, looking annoyed at the cellphone and then back to his dog ) fun time is over, nani ( he says before he picks up. this time it’s a quick thing though, some mistake one of the clerks made that his departament manager didn’t know how to deal with so he won’t need to stay. he decides to head there quickly then, just as he is, nani by his side and all. arriving there, he ties her leash to a light pole, and asks for the guy in the front door to keep an eye on her. he knows she is not going anywhere, but safety always comes first ) (it ends up being as quick as yunho thought it would be, in fifteen minutes he has everything settled and leaves just after knowing everything is now being left in good hands. but when he leaves the building he feels like his heart is sinking, head getting light for a second there. he looks to the boy, eyes wide ) where is my dog? ( but the boy just apologizes, says one minute she was there, the other, she wasn’t. yunho’s heart stops. and then he starts running )
