Dream job: I have always wanted to be a detective --- noir-style, complete with tragic backstory, bullet scars, and femme fatales --- but, alas, that likely won't happen. Anything solving-crime-related was also on the list, but then there are the horrors (disillusionment as regards the justice system). Now, dream job would probably be writer, tbh.

Languages: English is the only one I feel competent in, but I technically passed a German biliteracy exam, so maybe that too. (However, I do know a moderate amount of Spanish, and some easy conversational stuff in Mandarin --- oh, you know, "yes", "no", some numbers, "go to hell", "what?", the usual --- and French.)

Random Fact: I have so many, it's not even funny.

Aesthetic: Yes. Depending on the day, it's a) noir detective (fedora, button down, vest optional, tie optional, suspenders optional, suit pants), b) militaristic (cargo pants or ripped jeans, utilitarian shirt, etc.), or c) Victorian (corsets, long skirts, flowy shirts, etc.). However, I also generally look, quite accidentally, like a pirate, because I have rings on every finger, multiple necklaces, many bracelets, cuff earrings every day, and sometimes other earrings to match. And I always wear combat boots. So... yes :)

I just found out that my aversion to Jared Padalecki's acting is not solely limited to Sam Winchester... I tend to love horror movies --- those that are good quality, and those that aren't --- and I watched Cry_Wolf a few years back. I hadn't recognized jpeg from it when I first started watching SPN, but I realized it not long ago, and just...

I swear, his best acting in that film was forgettable; his worst was either downright atrocious or little better than his actual, irl personality.

I can't help but wonder if I would have liked Sam better were he played by a better actor. (Though, tbf, I don't think I would have... I think it'd just be another Mary situation where the character would be well-acted but equally atrocious. I'd just lose the comedic material of his sole method of acting being clenching his masseter muscle or developing a Wi-Fi symbol between his eyebrows.)

After having just tried pork rinds, I have come to the conclusion that they were invented for the people who felt the insatiable urge to eat packing peanuts as children, and I wholeheartedly support it

The bots are becoming frustratingly sentient with their names. Like, I would fully believe there's some random Tumblr user who'd make their name innermost-tibia7 or counterfeit-breather. Honestly, the second one is kinda hilarious and that bot is allowed to stay, if only for the irony

Destiel fairy tale AU casting confuses me so deeply. Like, I don't really do much fic reading (mainly because I write instead and I'm paranoid about accidental cross-contamination), but I've seen enough to have a sense and just... Sure, some of them make sense. Cas as Snow White works because of the whole came-from-a-position-of-power-but-then-got-kicked-out thing, as well as his tendency to be tricked by the story's villains (affectionate but true). Cas as the Quasimodo in Hunchback of Notre Dame works for so many reasons that I don't have space to type them out.

But Cas as Cinderella??? Bonkers. Absolutely confusing. He's definitely the prince from the apathetic ruling family who's expected to fall in line even though he doesn't want to, whereas Dean is definitely the less-favored son of John, taking care of the household after Mary's death while Sam and half-brother Adam are more favored. Bonus points because the end of the story would literally have Cas raising him from Perdition.

Cas as Belle? I mean, I guess it can go both directions, but I can't help but find this one equally confusing. I mean, you've got Cas, cursed until he learns how to love humanity. You've got Sam, who would wander into the castle accidentally and get stuck, up until Dean goes to get him out/trade himself for Sam. Gabriel would absolutely enchant dishes to talk, sing, and dance.

I mean, we all have our own interpretations, and I respect that... but also... no.
