The Seventh Day Adventist Cult
They have a main figure prophet who founded them which the church abides by and which body of their theological work cannot be challenged. Also, the prophet claims to have heard from God, visions etc.. Those who question the Churches doctrines or the founder will be excommunicated. They control you, since they don't believe with simple Bible teaching will be enough to keep you there. Add to the Gospel, whether indirectly or directly they teach a works based salvation, which can lead to legalism (human rules over God's, calling something a sin when it isn't). They have Scripture plus, since the Bible is not enough they must have another inspired book along Holy Scripture which alone is infallible.
