an hour? why did crow need that long to get ready and get to his place? he was about to ask, but crow hung up before he could get another word out. he figurd he should get ready, too. aion hadn’t even worn his regular clothes all day, so he had to get changed. with much internal debate, he put on his normal clothes, since crow would be with him. he didn’t have to bundle up too much.
he heard crow yelling at his door, but was too stressed about the outing to actually sparse the words. putting a hand over his face, he turned the knob with his other fidgeting hand and opened the door. “ crow ...? ” aion was surprised to see crow had gone out and gotten him groceries. no wonder he’d said he’d take a while. but he didn’t have to go to all that trouble ... aion just wanted someone to go with him, that was all. at the same time, he was relieved. he really didn’t want to go outside today.
“ you didn’t have to- ” he stopped himself, cleared his throat. saying something like that just sounded pathetic. “ both your time and effort have produced fruitful offerings for this god. now, i will take these bags, as it is too much for a lowly mortal such as yourself ... ” // @scrleteyes ( x )
