━━   ♦︎   “no.” the word is immeasurably TIRED, and some small part of jude wants to simply walk away. he’s done playing savior and guardian. no one ever listens to him anyway? but, fuck he has gotten somewhat attached to these new musicians. “no, you are turning around and staying away from them.” a beat. “whose life are you even ruining THIS WEEK?”

     tsugumi’s fingers drum against the table of the booth where she’s chosen to wait for her fellow sorcerer. she wouldn’t say she’s nervous to be meeting rini outside of their work, but there is an apprehension tsugumi feels nevertheless. she didn’t ask rini here for idle chit chat, nor to show off her favorite place to get breakfast; no, tsugumi needs advice. she admittedly feels a little out of place asking for it. 

     catching sight of rini, the sorceress stands to wave her over with a call of her name and a sweet smile. “ thanks for meeting me, endo, ” she says once they’re both seated. there’s a quick beat of silence in which tsugumi decides a little small talk can’t hurt ( being too direct would be rude, right? ). “ i hope you don’t mind me choosing a place with american-style breakfast. it’s become habit to eat here on the weekends. ”
