Scrubbing in Finale???

Hi gorgeous nursing friends! 

I hope you are all doing well, and having such a restful break. Aha, two posts in a couple days? I am so excited to actually have time to blog, and hopefully better my blog & find the right theme and all that Jazz. So for now, I am happy with my theme and just trying to find that right extra touch to make it all pretty. 

Sorry for rambling -- but tonight is a very sad night. The scrubbing in finale!  I absolutely think this show is my guilty pleasure. I know  A LOT of nurses & nursing students get very upset at the show and the way that it portrays nurses (which I totally understand) and there are some who absolutely LOVE the show, and all the content it has. I for one, love watching this show as a destresser. I don't really take it in as a strictly nursing show, I treat it as I would with Jersey Shore for example. Just one of those shows that I can't get myself to stop watching. Through these past nine episodes, I feel like I have really fell in love with all the cast, and my favourite (obviously being Adrian.) Not because his looks, but because he is such a sweet, caring, and kind hearted person. He is an amazing nurse, and he really is that one person who wears his heart on his sleeve. I absolutely adore him, and I will miss seeing him on my screen. I am so upset with the fact that it is done, but hopefully I will find a show to occupy my time. 

I can't wait for tonights season finale, and I feel like I might be a little heartbroken. #nursingproblems LOL. but yeah, leave me some messages on what you thought of scrubbing in. Did you enjoy it? Did it change the way you thought TV could affect professions? haha, leave me your messages and I'll reblog some of you! :)

Update - Finals!

Hey Beautiful nursing friends. 

I apologize for not posting, but its officailly finals season. This is absolutely crazy, because I remember when school just started. The stress is REAL. LOL. I dont know how i managed to get through the last two days -- knowing that although two are down i still have so many to go. I pray and hope everyone is doing well & their finals are good! 

I just wrote my anatomy exam, and to be totally honest i dont know what just happened. Anatomy is so difficult and don't get me wrong, I know that this class is supposed to be this hard, but i never imagined it to be like this. I pray that we all do well, but at this point I sometimes forget what "real life is." 

LOL, thats how you know nursing school is life. When I call life outside of school "real life". Other than these crazy exams, I just feel so thankful to be in this program. To know that i am being tested and learning all the skills to one day help someone. The smile on someone's face is more valuable to me than any paycheck. Nurses to me are the most important people, and our profession is something to be looked up to. Nurses are amazing, and all of you nursing students. pls hang in there. We got this. Through thick & Thin. A tumblr post away, I am here for you. 

Also, just finished watching the episode of Scrubbing In ( a POST- Exam reward ;) ) LOL, i dont know what to say. This show was fun at first.. but i dont know right now. I dont know... thats the only word i can explain how i feel. Nurses are such superheroes, and I feel like this show is sort of down playing how amazing nurses are. i love you all, hang in there and remember we are healthy and alive, and that is all that matters <3

Not as Easy as it sounds...

Hi amazing nursing friends!!! I hope you all are doing well! So the first weekly check-in. Let me just start off by saying thats it one thirty am, and have two papers due in the morning with three other ones due during the week.. I know all of the older nursing students are probably laughing and saying that they have done way more, but for me just to think that a couple months ago i was literally sleeping and enjoying summer vacation. Wow, how times have changed. The one thing that is kinda erking me out is my motivation swings. I will have weeks were I am so motivated, and then weeks were I am like eh. I know for a fact that I want to do nursing for the rest of my life, and to think that I can go to school for something I love just brings joy to my life. Whatever I am going through now -- I know it will be all worth it, and i would not trade it for the world. just another thing -- i seen this up on my dash and It is so weird bcos I was having this conversation with someone today. IT ANNOYS THE CRAP OUT OF ME when i tell people my major -- and they say oH JUST A NURSE?? um, last time I checked nurses do way more work than anybody and we are the most kindest people on earth. IDK, it just eerks me that people dont take nursing so srsly. It is the love of my life, and i am so happy to have a worldwide community of nurses I can call my nursing family.

I hope all of you are doing amazing!! Also, have you guys caught the most recent episode of Scrubbing IN???? LOL let me know -- I kinda want to vent about my feelings about this show. Such a guilty pleasure.
