There are a few episodes of Scrubs that are truly tragic and one of them is the one when Jordan’s brother dies from cancer and Dr.Cox spends the rest of the episode hallucinating him.
It was just so genius the way they made it seem as if they were getting ready for his son’s birthday party and that a patient had died instead of it being Ben.
And then the realization he has at the end of the episode when J.D. says “where do you think we are?” and we realize that they are at a cemetery.
Just such good writing and makes me tear up every time.
