LIMBS ·FREEZE at the ·contact, falling ·limp at the ·girls touch. For the ·action was ·unexpected and ·to say she was ·CAUGHT of guard by the sudden affection would be an understatement but she did not recoil. INSTEAD she stood there dumbfounded, racking her brain for any logical reason that Mabel of all people would HUG her but she found none and so she FOUND herself returning her embrace.

Frail arms tighten around Pacifica, pulling her closer as if Mabel were ·trying to lose herself in the warmth of another person. She’d been so upset - on the verge of crying even - when her gaze fell onto a familiar blonde. A moth drawn to a bright flame, hugging her had happened without a second thought crossing her mind. All she knew was that she had to be near the other girl as soon as possible.
