Charles playing golf in Scotland - September 2024
The staggering amount of things I should be doing vs. what I’m actually doing . . .
planning a trip to scotland to visit @lediona25 with money and time I don’t have but there are so many cute flats to rent on AirBnb and I wannnnaaaaaa!
200 million ya, Ireland and Scotland were a part of the same range as the Appalachian mountains, where, funny enough, the majority of Scottish and Irish emigrants settled in America.

Guess who is coming to Government ..?
It’s BigBird & TotallyBan...!
BigBird’s head is so far in the clouds, you can never hear her apologize for breaking Covid rules while demanding harsher rules (and punishments) for everyone else!
TotallyBan - wants to Ban Cars, Ban Foreign Travel, Ban Washing Machines, etc. etc...
Together with the SNP they make: ‘The Extremist Alliance’ or the
Phlegm Front (yellow/green spit up).
In memory of my favorite place on Earth, Scotland! Inspired by Old man of Storr and the handsomest cow on earth! #papercutout #paperart #sctoland #oldmanofstorr #highlandcow https://www.instagram.com/p/BrHSiBIHt7a/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1swzx710ag82b
Dragonfly in Amber
Diana Gabaldon
For twenty years, Claire Randall has kept her secrets. But now she is returning with her grown daughter to the mysteries of Scotland’s mist-shrouded Highlands.
Here Claire plans to reveal a truth as shocking as the events that gave it birth: the secret of an ancient circle of standing stones, the secret of a love that transcends centuries, and the truth of a man named Jamie Fraser—a Highland warrior whose gallantry once drew the young Claire from the security of her century to the dangers of his.
Claire’s spellbinding journey continues through the intrigue-ridden French court and the menace of Jacobite plots to the Highlands of Scotland, through war and death, in a desperate fight to save both the child and the man she loves.
West Highland Way Day 4
Day 4; we got overtaken by a guy with a limp and exam results came out. This is literally all I remember about day 4. I’d love to tell you guys more, but I have literally no clue and apparently took 0 pictures. Maybe I was stressed about exam results? Idk man. The website says “The way follows the river Falloch through a splendid succession of gorges, rocky rapids, short cascades, cauldrons and wide dark peaty pools with short stretches of smooth water in between.“ Sounds cool, right? I don’t remember it at all.
Above: One of 3 pictures I have of day 4. They are all of the same sign
Whoops.
What I do know is that we stayed in a Trekker Hut outside of Tyndrum, which meant we got to walk into Tyndrum and eat fish and chips at the Good Food Cafe. Tyndrum is one of these weird highway towns that you associate with America more than Britain. A big dual carriageway runs through the centre and all the shops are designed to let people stock up for the wilds ahead. It seems like no one actually lives there and everyone there is just passing through. There’s a lot of love for liminal spaces on Tumblr and Tyndrum definitely is one in my opinion.
