I TOTALLY FEEL YOU ABOUT THE ROSE TYLER THING I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
OH MY GOD ME TOO. It’s not that I don’t like her or anything, she’s okay. And her and Nine are my otp. But, the fandom acts like she’s some kind of goddess from the heavens here to rescue us from our previous (obviously terrible, right?) companions. Oh wait, most of the people who worship Rose haven’t even seen any Classic Who. My bad. Meanwhile Martha is demonized. For what? Falling in love with the Doctor? Right, because only Rose is allowed to have feelings for him, silly me. It’s not like she’s just as strong, if not stronger than, Rose or anything. It’s not like she stayed by his side despite him being, frankly, a whiny self-pitying brat who didn’t appreciate anything she did. It’s not like she saved the entire fucking world while the Doctor was useless trapped in a cage. Nope, Rose is clearly the one who should be worshipped here.
