I wonder if Hunter had enough time to actually form a romantic relationship, also what would happen to Moon if Hunter decided to abandon their mission to be in a relationship with any slugcat? Would they just not have a brain?

In my hunter x artificer au The romance begins after hunter has completed their mission. And she and artificer set out, looking for a cure. They don’t find one and Hunter eventually dies. so in summary moon gets her brain cells, but Hunter doesn’t get her happily ever after :(

I’m actually planning to write a artihunter fan fic about this concept but it’s gonna be kinda dark and weird so… read at your own risk!
