Summary:

Jimmy has his laptop open, a notebook in front of him, slowly scribbling something. He doesn't look up when Tango leans against the barn door to watch him for a moment, and he doesn't react either when Tango steps inside and closes it behind himself and walks over to him. There's a can of beer abandoned on the desk, and Tango moves it a bit further away as he steps around and puts his hands on Jimmy's shoulders. He's glad he did when Jimmy jumps a little and his hand just about misses the beer can. "There you are," Tango says. "Workin' again?" He glances at the notebook, but doesn't pause to read the calculations Jimmy's been doing. Jimmy leans back into him. "Sorry. Couldn't stop thinking." Tango bends down to press a kiss to his hair.

For a moment Tango doesn't know what to say now that he's alone with Zed, but then Zed smiles at him and says, "So Jimmy, huh?" "Yeah. It's... It's been good." "How long has that been going on?" Tango wets his lips. "Depends on how you want to count, I guess. It started somewhere between Plovdiv and Lucerne. Properly, it's only been a few weeks." He can see Zed run through the timeline in his head, the times they've seen each other when Tango chose not to say anything. Zed's smile turns a little sad and he feels a pang of guilt, but then he hears voices from the kitchen and reminds himself that he doesn't have to. "You look happy together," Zed says.
