Oh Alec and Clarke going to a Woods family reunion for the first time?
I don’t think this is as nerve wracking as it could be. Clarke and Jacob/Alec already know Aden and Anya. Plus, by the time they’re going to the reunion, Ranya is a thing too. So they know they’ll have Raven there too.
They have all their safety nets around them basically.
Clarke is nervous because it’s the first time she’d meeting Lexa’s parents. They travel a lot for work. She doesn’t even know what they do. They were lawyers at one point. They still might be. She honestly doesn’t know.
And she knows they know about her. And about Jacob/Alec. And about Finn.
She doesn’t know if they’ll judge her for that. If they’ll think she’s only with Lexa because of some hero complex. Or if they’ll think she’d with her because of her money.
She has no idea what they’ll think.
And Lexa? She’s all hearteyes and telling her love and Alec to not worry. They’ll be fine. The family isn’t that horrible. At least the part of the reunion that will just be her parents and Anya’s parents and Aden and Lincoln. That part will be just fine. It’s the rest of the family that’s scary.
But Lexa will handle them. Clarke is on strict orders to relax and not worry about anything.
Lexa makes sure Ryder (Clarke’s bodyguard she hired and insisted on keeping around the second time Finn nearly kidnapped Alec) and Artigas (Alec’s bodyguard) know to keep their eye on them and their stress levels. She’s to be notified immediately if any relatives start harassing either of them.
It ends up being just fine. They have a good time. And, other than Lexa’s grandmother asking a few pointed questions, everyone is pleasant.
