In terms of raw performance, I think there's nothing to worry about with a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 under the hood and 2GB of RAM. The only thing I'm concerned about is the software integration with the e-ink screen. For example, the last time I checked the Android Kindle app cannot take what your'e currently reading and send it to the e-ink screen -- I really hope they will be able to resolve this in an elegant way. Releasing an SDK is promising, but it all depends on who will actually use it.
