Most importantly, she fell in love with the Bear Cookie stout which created her desire to join the ranks. With patience came reward and in 2018 she joined the staff as our assistant brewer(although other hats were worn as well), and is behind a lot of the hazy IPA's you've seen on tap. Lu is a member of the San Diego Pink Boots Chapter and is a competitor in their new annual Arm Wrestling competition under the alias of Udder Dominance(she's a big fan of cows!) Lu absolutely loves what she does and she hopes to one day be a leader in bringing more women into the industry.
