Oh wow thanks! Wild. Weirdly enough I’ve been told that about Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and a few others before. So something doesn't add up.

I had to look up Matisse's art as I'm not really familiar with his work. I was confused at first but then I saw what you meant. The funky stuff he made out of them shapes ™ .

Interesting. Personally I vibe a bit more with Ernst Ludwig Kirchner’s things. I even made a blog just for art of him that I like (that I haven’t updated in a while, oh no), @burg-approved-kirchners . I don’t dig the majority of his art but I adore some of the color shemes he uses sooooooooo much. And I had the chance to experience some of his paintings in person. By coincidence. I walked into a museum (mere weeks after being “diagnosed with Ernst Ludwig Kirchner reincarnation” by a teacher). Didn’t know what exact artists would be there that day. Then stood in front of a painting that really made me go “!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”. Came closer to it to check whose that was. And it was a Kirchner. I just went. “OH.”
