One thing I’ve noticed is that Allen gets a lot of flack for how he treated Connor in the beginning. It’s almost like no one takes into consideration the fact that not only is it a high tension situation, but a childs life is on the line, and it’s all in ONE MAN’S HANDS. He’s a squad LEADER. he’s a SWAT CAPTAIN. He doesn’t want to chit chat when Cyberlife goes ‘oh this android will make the problem all better! ^^’ He has to deal with the fact that not only have THREE of his men been shot (the one right after Connor analyzes the gun, after Allen mentions two of his men being shot) but there’s a dead cop and one hemorrhaging blood on the rooftop that none of them can get to -- already presumed dead. For him to be acting ‘like a little bitch’ is an understatement but also extremely valid considering the fact that he has the responsibility of his men on his hands, and he’s going to have to deal with the dead men as well. All because of some ‘error’, and not only that, but they send the same god damn thing to him that’s out on that roof top shooting without mercy. Literally, if any of his men or even he himself so much as tried to go out there and deal with it themselves, Daniel would’ve shot them on sight like he did with Connor. But HE’S one of the assholes? Because he’s up tight and doesn’t want to spend time talking about things that seem like useless information when, as far as ANY OF THEM KNEW, androids weren’t supposed to HAVE those issues to begin with.
