god. that part in jacques’s boss fight where geralt says “they treat people like you at st. lebioda’s hospital.” like........ what if that, but un-ironically? jacques breaks down, admits he’s alvin, & then geralt sees him as the traumatized son he left behind. they leave the end of the world together, & jacques gets real actual help, both with his trauma & his powers. he hears tales of ciri & realizes he was never meant to save the world, & that he never failed because he was never even meant to try. idk i just want everyone to be okaaaaaaay
