Eyes peered over the counter as she approached. There was no point in pretending she wasn’t caught. An anxious breath drawn in. She bit her lips, barely able to stand still! She’d never seen a female scientist before. Eyes flickered between her work and her face. Heart and Mind racing. She’d been told for so long, there was no such thing! That it wasn’t lady-like to wish to participate in such a field. She barely knew this woman, but she was her new hero-! She drew in another breath, attempting to steel herself and cleared her throat.
“P-Pardon my intrusion, I just-” She was barely able to keep still, practically bouncing on her feet, weight shifting about in excitement as she spoke with such glee. Curious eyes falling on her hands, she just had to know-
