Dust— Ash coughed twice, her hands waving in the air as she tried to get the dust out of her face. She should’ve definitely put the box down more gently, however it was a bit too late for that. “Don’t laugh.”, she coughed quietly towards Isaac, who had his body turned towards the Christmas tree her grandfather had bought yesterday— and even though his face was towards said tree, she could see his shoulders bouncing in quiet laughter. “That isn’t funny.”, she grumbled quietly, bending down and pulling some glittering Christmas Bulbs out of the box, walking over to the tree. Swiftly, she placed a few onto the lower part of the tree, handing two towards Isaac to decorate the upper parts. He was two heads taller than she was, easily reaching the upper parts, while Ash would’ve probably needed a chair AND high heels to do so. But that wasn’t why she invited Isaac around to do that. It was her first christmas without her parents and frankly, she just needed someone here. Someone who cared for her.

Isaac suddenly asked, his attention towards the dusty box on the floor— he walked over and opened it, his long fingers gently digging through the Christmas decoration Ashlyn’s grandfather had kept in the basement. "Well.. all kind of things, I can't say I looked into it, though.", the blonde said, turning around, kneeling down next to the box as well. "That's no decoration.", she mumbled out of the sudden, her small, slender fingers pulling out some sort of plant, bound with a red bow. "What's that?" Ash asked, lifting the plant a bit higher for Isaac to see-- almost above their heads. "Mistletoe.", the male responded. "You know, once you stand below Mistletoe, you should kiss.", Isaac added, causing the blonde to look into his eyes, surprise to be read in her features. "But.. we're not standing.", she responded quietly, subconsciously leaning in-- just a bit, almost unnoticeable. Yet Isaac noticed. The male flashed a crooked smile, his movements meeting hers. "Do you care?", he asked quietly, a whisper-- and just before their lips met, the blonde hushed a surprisingly brave
