Running into him was lucky. A kind soul, she decides. A place to stay, a moment to freshen up, all more than she could possibly need but graciously accepted. Though, perhaps he doesn’t trust her in his space. She hasn’t fully grasped the concept of an apartment, never having been inside one. It’s not exactly how she’s imagined it. Does he think she’ll steal something?
