I’ve seen a new argument on why The Source Dragon of Strength couldn’t be Ras’ master and it’s why make the source of Cole’s powers the major villain of the show?
But like that’s the fun part of Strength being the main villain lol (for a Cole fan Atleast) the source of Cole’s powers that he has used to protect the he’s loved and that he’s very much attached too as it’s like his only living connection to his mom
comes from a being who doesn’t have a drop of kindness in his heart a self obsessed entity who holds a nihilistic view on the world and only cares for one thing and it’s this plan he’s been working on for decades and he doesn’t care how it happens or who it hurts

HEAVY SPECULATION though as we don’t really know Ras’s masters personality nor his true motives he could actually be a kind and caring guy just he goes about his plan’s very harshly like what Ras said in season 2 part 2
Still makes his connection with Cole cool though if they’re actually pretty alike just Strength has a very drastic way of going about things and he thinks about the bigger picture what’s good for everybody in all the merged lands and for future cycles
instead of Cole who focuses more on those who are around him at that moment like his family and friends he has very close attachments while Strength probably doesn’t aside from maybe Ras?
(I mean yeah he has his siblings and he definitely does care for them because of his s3pt1 line but cough cough bro also probably killed Balance </3)
