Pumpkin Patch

This is the second part of my 13 days before Halloween series.

You rode on the neck of your boyfriend as you both make your way to a pumpkin patch. “Drole what do you want to do once we get a pumpkin” “To be honest i don’t know”. You smiled as you thought it would be fun to try to carve a face on the pumpkin as you shall some humans did. 

Drole soon stopped as he shall the Pumpkin patch. “Um Y/n i’ll wait here as you go get a pumpkin” “If you say so dear, love you i’ll be back”, he smiled as he shall you run to the pumpkin patch checking out all the pumpkins. 

This is what he loved about you, he always loved you wishing to be by your side. The time he’s with you he feels happy that you love him no matter what. The way you played with him when you both were younger, as you showed him lakes, trees, ect. He remember the way you beat up a bigger giant for making fun of the two of you. You won but you were hurt so that’s when he knew he had to protect you.  And he was happy the day you told him you loved him and how you wanted to be by his side. That is all he needed hear.

So today is the day he will ask you to be his queen. He was ready a little worried that you would say no or lie. “Drole i found it”, Drole flinched a bit hearing you yell as you found a pumpkin that was not to big and not to small. You smiled as Drole placed you on his shoulder as he walked back to your nice home. 

As he sat you down you stood by his side as you started to carve your pumpkin. “Y/n can i ask you something” “Yeah what is it honey” “You know i have always loved you and i will always be by your side” “What are you trying to say honey”. You said turning around feeling you jump up as Drole got on one knee. “Y/n will you do me the honor and being my wife?”, you can only smile with tears pricking at the corners of your eyes as you can only say “Yes!”.

Drole can only smile as he brought you up and you kissed him on his lips. You can smile seeing a huge gem stone. That night you only be held in the soft brace of you now fiance and future husband.
