Strike is Dream's right hand man. He is in charge of organizing and deploying teams to AUs, as well as training guards for Dream's palace.
Strike is a LV 20 Dust!Cross; he was rescued from his empty AU by Dream due to Strike's ability to use OVERWRITE. He is incredibly loyal to Dream for giving him a new purpose aiding people. Due to his high LV he is wildly volatile, only kept in check by Dream's aura. He is very strong and very dangerous, and as such is Dream's greatest weapon against Nightmare.
Strike is difficult to get along with, but holds a secret well of deep hurt and insecurity. His greatest joy is his little herd of cows; he found them lost and alone while wandering his AU and took pity on them, as he was the reason they didn't have anyone to care for them. After months of slowly getting over his fear of them, they are now his treasured family and he was adamant they come with him to Dream's domain.
Blue travels with a team to distribute aid to AUs that could benefit from outside help (Horrortale for example), or goes along with Helios as backup for more diplomatic visits (Fell universes, universes with tense human-monster politics)
Blue doesn't play an active role in the complex politics that Dream weaves, but he's a friendly face and can hold his own if things get a lil dicey. He takes great satisfaction in helping others and being treated like a hero, so he volunteers for a lot of missions
He also helps out in Dream's stables, but that's just because he likes the animals, and he likes keeping busy when he's not out on an assignment
Cynical but much mellower than you’d expect, since Dream keeps him levelled out with positivity. When his LV does become too much to handle anyway, he’s sent out on missions to get rid of dissidents. He doesn’t like being ordered around and finds Dream incredibly grating and hates all the admiration he gets. Whist sticks around with his head down for the free food, shelter, and the secret hope that making AUs positive by Dream’s orders will repent for all the bad he’s done. He’s only good for killing, right? So he may as well use that for the “greater good”. But if you ask he’d definitely imply it’s just for the LV.
A neutral-ending Swapfell Papyrus that was alone in his AU. Dream picked him up and offered him a job in his palace. He accompanies Blue on most missions. He's very quiet and secretive about his tragic backstory, but reasonably loyal to Dream. Very loyal to Blue.
also known as: Horror, Axe
Adze is pretty chill! He's had time to mellow out after the ordeal of living in his AU, and getting to watch everyone recover. Dream basically showed up with tons of food and a way to break the barrier, facilitating the monsters' freedom and helping set them up on the surface in peace.
He still didn't want to live in his AU after everything though, so he chose to go 'work' for Dream. He doesn't do much aside from helping in the kitchen/gardens sometimes and going out on missions to distribute aid to other AUs. Even then he mostly slacks off and tells jokes to the denizens to cheer them up.
He's a lil sus of Dream-- nobody's that perfect/nice, but he doesn't care enough to do anything about his suspicions. Dream helped his brother and gave him an easy life, so Adze'll do what he says for the most part.
Despite having a nicer life and lots of time to process he's got a bit of a temper, and can often be caught staring off into space lost in his memories. He's not above violence if it's necessary, but doesn't often have an outlet for it so it simmers just under the surface. He's almost always doing something with his hands-- he's picked up whittling as his hobby of choice. You can find his lil carvings all throughout the palace and in his room. He hides them for people to find.
Ink is the self-proclaimed guardian of AUs. He and Nightmare have similar goals, and occasionally work together because of it. Ink wants to return all the AUs that Dream has altered to their original scrips, and Nightmare wants to fix the balance by reverting some AUs to negativity. Nightmare considers him an ally, and when Ink remembers he exists he considered himself an honorary member of 'the resistance'.
Ink has tried to take down Dream multiple times and been 'killed' during each attempt. He's keeping count on his scarf, including whether or not it was Dream or one of his lackeys that managed to destroy him. Dream considers him a very annoying adversary, as without a soul Ink is immune to his aura and impossible to truly kill.
Error is the self-proclaimed destroyer of AUs. He and Dream aren't on good terms, but have a tenuous agreement; Error will only destroy AUs that Dream doesn't have a use for and Dream will leave him, and his favorite AUs, alone.
For the most part Error's given up on destroying AUs as checking with Dream beforehand really killed the mood. He doesn't care about all the conflict surrounding the balance as long as Undernovela and Outertale are left alone. He spends most of his time alone in the anti-void just... hanging out and observing the chaos.
