If i'm being honest I believe the cable man didn't put that animal in the well. I don't know why but it felt like he was telling the truth when he said he didn't do it.

The thing is if it wasn’t him...then who?`

I have a theory that is not based on anything we have seen so far and that would raise more questions that it would answer but it also could be cool if I was right.

Maybe the person who put it in was one of the kids? More specifically Woong Soon?

Now I know what you're thinking, why would he do that? And unfortunately I don't have the answer to that either lmao. It's just a theory, maybe I'm wrong, maybe the cable man did do it, maybe it was someone else, one of the villagers, one of the rangers or even someone we haven't seen before ( I doubt it). But I could be right. After all, we know that everything started from that incident. It wouldn't be that big of a stretch for Woong Soon to have something to do with it.

The thing is, if my memory serves me right, there was a man in the village the day Kim Sol's mother died. Who could that man be if not the cable man?

So yeah there really is more questions than answer if my (silly)theory proves correct.

If i'm right about Se Wook, Woong Soon and Kim Sol being accomplices then how did those three come to be working together?

Did they have a reunion and eventually the conversation led to "I really want to kill the people who left our village and the cable man" and the others were like "omg same lmao" "how about we do it together besties?"

So.... Kim Sol...

I honestly have trouble dissolving him of all suspicions. I think he is Woong Soon's accomplice, he is acting way too suspicious to be completely innocent . Also him being an accomplice would explain why the culprit knew Hyung Joo was investigating since that dumbass (that i love so so so much) told him alllll about his investigation.

But asides from that I still don't understand those guy's motive.

For Kim Sol I could understand because both his father and mother died in the village. He could have seen his father's suicide as being the fault of the villagers who left and also the fault of the rangers who didn't believe them about the "goblin light" and his mother's death as being the fault of the cable man who allegedly poisonned the water. Which would explain why Jo Dae Jin was framed, why the cable man was killed and the death of the others. He probably killed Se Wook because if he was caught there was a chance he would reveal who his accomplices were.

However, why kill his other childhood friends? Because they left jirisan? But according to him he also left to live with one of his relative in the city. Did he kill them because of their parents? Because they abandoned the village? Why kill someone for the fault of their parent?

Or maybe Kim Sol wasn't the one who wanted to kill them but rather Woong Soon? If so then why? We still don't know shit about his motives, as far as we know, only Kim Sol's parents and Se Wook's father died in the village. So it probably isn't the same motive as those guys... or is it?

Honestly at this point I just have way more questions than I did at the beginning of episode 14, instead of getting answers all I got was more confusion.
